From April, 1985 until March,
1992, Mr. Anderson was a project manager for The Crown Group,
Inc. on the acquisition of the Blaw Knox building, Broadview,
Illinois (325,000 square feet) and the Dresser Industries
building, Franklin Park, Illinois (181,000 square feet).
He has also been project manager for the development of the
ChemLawn building, Lake Forest, Illinois; Maple Plaza Shopping
Center, Downers Grove, Illinois; Worthington Business Center,
Worthington, Ohio; Country Corners Shopping Center, South
Elgin, Illinois; and the Cooperative Marketing building,
Rolling Meadows, Illinois. His final project for The Crown
Group was the acquisition and sale of a 120-acre parcel in
Elgin, Illinois. Mr. Anderson's duties as project manager
included site selection, land purchase negotiation, securing
both interim and permanent financing, building design and
architectural review, selection of building contractor, the
review and approval of construction draws, the coordination
of tenant build-out, assisting with tenant lease negotiations,
and finalizing construction and project development. His
position at The Crown Group was Senior Vice President with
responsibility of the industrial division for existing projects,
new acquisitions, and development opportunities. Mr. Anderson
was made a partner of The Crown Group in January 1990.
